What’s a linchpin? A linchpin is one of those pivotal roles that influence a wide variety of activities and functions in a company – and has a very high impact and leverage on improving results. Do you want to be in a linchpin role – the kind of role that allows your career to explode forward?

What kind of impact are we seeking from a top-notch Project Engineer Liaison in a linchpin role?

You will improve our estimating capability with the sales team for new business. You will develop and/or improve new and existing processes to improve quality and reduce cost. You will work with our supply chain vendors to improve their manufacturing processes and quality. You will be in the pivotal role of helping us transition products from development to production. You will create raving fans with customers in specifications and applications development.

Our ideal candidate will most likely have a degree in Mechanical or Optical Engineering. You most likely have at least six years of experience working in a Project Engineering Liaison role. Your track record is outstanding, filled with accomplishments around improving manufacturing processes, metrics, and customer satisfaction with custom products. If you have experience with optics and photonics – it would be a huge plus – but not a requirement. We are more interested in your achievements in improving manufacturing success and working with customers.
